In 1985, he released another ghazal album named “Nayaab”, while “Aafreen” in 1986. In 1984, the veteran singer also has sung LIVE at Royal Albert Hall. And later, released many hit ghazals, such as “Mukarar” in 1981, “Tarranum” in 1982, while “Mehfil” was released in 1993. In 1980, Pankaj Udhas began his career with a release of a ghazal- first album titled Aahat. After completing his science degree, he took Indian Classical Vocal Music training in Mumbai from Master Navrang.
Later, he along with his family moved to Mumbai where he studied at St.Xavier’s College. Pankaj Udhas attended Sir BPTI Bhavanagar from where he got his education. In fact, he was the one who started his career with singing and became popular. While his elder brother, Nirmal Udhas earned success after singing as a playback singer for the various Bollywood films.
He was born on 17 th May 1951, Jetpur, Saurashtra, India, grew up with a brother, Nirmal Udhas, Manhar Udhas, both are singers, raised under the supervision of parents.
